About Our Company
LTA Aviation, Inc. was founded in 1995 by Bill and Sandy Cloninger. We have been dedicated to spreading the joy and wonder of hot air balloon flight.

Bill Cloninger is one of the top balloon pilots in the US. He is a Balloon Federation of America Master Flight Instructor. He has served as President of the Northeast Ohio Balloon Pilot’s Association for two terms. In 1997, Bill received the prestigious Balloon Federation of America’s Director’s Award for his continuing efforts in promoting safety and education within the hot air ballooning community. He has been consistently ranked in the top 25 competitive pilots in the US by the BFA over the last ten years.
